Moawin Foundation handed over 411 Food Packs to th

Moawin Foundation handed over 411 Food Packs to the DG GBDMA. These food packs have been distributed among the flood affectees of Diamer, Ghizer, Gilgit and Ghanche.
Moawin foundation is supporting more than 15000 students in 66 schools across Gilgit Baltistan. Moreover, Moawin Foundation actively participated in COVID relief operation and supported GB government during the pendamic.

MF in collaboration with @akhuwatofficial Foundation is conducting Tele Learning for 9th and 10th classes in which science subjects are being taught by professional teachers of Akhuwat virtually in GHS Mahmunwali and GGHS Tibbi Hambo, Sheikhupura. Initially, this Tele learning center was established in both these schools to teach 9th class.

Government school Tinjos was constructed by Centra

Government school Tinjos was constructed by Central Asia Institute USA in 2007. School was started with 2 teachers to facilitate the community. Although the school is not far from city centre skardu however it is relatively inaccessible due to non availability of roads.
Since 2019, Govt of Baltistan and Moawin foundation are supporting this government school. MF has provided 5 teachers where as govt has posted 4 teachers. Recently MF has established ECE in the school. School is supporting a large number of girls who are studying in class 9th and 10th. This initiative was taken by Moawin Foundation.
Team MF led by chairman MF Admiral ( Retd) Asif Sandila and member BOD Ms. Sabina Khatri visited the school and held meetings with school and govt education department to plan further interventions in the school.
DDO Mr. Abu Ul Hassan and Principal Mr. Muhammad Ali appreciated the efforts of MF in providing quality education to the community.

Garthenz and Garet are two settlements located in

Garthenz and Garet are two settlements located in Darkut valley of district Ghizer.
Darkut is one of the farthest valleys in Ghizer bordering with Broghil and Wakhan valley in Chitral and Afghanistan.
Located at 170 Kms from Gilgit which takes approximately 6 hours to reach Darkut valley.
Total population in these settlements is 421 people with 70 households.
Recent Monsoon rain has badly affected their crops and partially damaged houses.
Moawin Foundation with the help of donors & @therafiafoundation provided ration to these 70 families.

Qumrah and Kuwardu are two valleys not very far fr

Qumrah and Kuwardu are two valleys not very far from Skardu city but far from basic facility of quality education.

Keeping this shortfall in mind Moawin Foundation adopted one school at each location and started supporting them in 2019. With the passage of time a number of interventions have been made and as of today both schools are performing upto the mark. MF has successfully gained trust of these communities. 70% rise in enrollment is proof of quality education being imparted in these schools.

MF team led by Chairman MF Admiral (Retd) Asif Sandila, CEO Zulfiqar Ahmad and member BOD Ms. Sabina Khatri who is also chairperson of Kiran Foundation visited along with MF regional team. Kiran Foundation has been supporting MF schools across GB as a partner in providing facilities and quality education.

We beleive a lot is still required to be done in these schools. MF will do its best to bring them at par with other well reputed institutions.

A media talk/briefing was held at Shigar during week long visit of Chairman Moawin Foundation Admiral (Retd) Asif Sandila. He is accompanied by Member board and chairperson Kiran Foundation Ms.Sabina Khatri and CEO MF Mr.Zulfiqar Ahmad.

Briefing was attended by DC Shigar, officials from education department, RPM AKRSP, GM Iqra Fund, PM AKAH and a large number of media representatives.

During briefing Regional Manager Operations Maj (Retd) Ejaz Aleem briefed about MF's last 3 years activities in GB particularly Baltistan and future plans.

MF intends carrying out a number of interventions during year 2022-2023.

Defense Day was celebrated at Islamabad Model School for Girls (Model Village, Islamabad) during the month of September. Students were briefed about the sacrifices made by our heroes for our beloved country. Students enthusiastically participated in the event and performed in role plays and skits to highlight the importance of this day.

The local community was apprised about the work being done by Moawin Foundation.

Dari and chogorong are located in Sadpara valley at height the of 10000 feet. Famous for mountain climbers, Sadpara has produced finest of the sportsmen including Ali sadpara and Hassan Sadpara.

Moawin Foundation initiated its Flood Relief Progr

Moawin Foundation initiated its Flood Relief Program in Nowshehra, KPK. Moawin Foundation distributed 200 families with Rashan, Plastic underlay, Mosquito Nets, Pillows, Mattress/Razai, Quilts, Water coolers and Mospel Liquid. Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, Chief Executive of Moawin Foundation himself went to the flood affected areas and met with people. He assured the local community of continued support in future as well. Ms. Zulfishan Manzoor, Chief Executive of Nowshehra Cantonment Board also took part in the distribution of Items.
She appreciated the efforts of Moawin Foundation and expressed her sincere gratitude.

Defence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in GGES Meh

Defence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in GGES Mehmonwali village in Sheikhupura.
Students paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan by decorating the Classrooms. Further, they sang national songs and made speeches highlighting and remembering the sacrifices of Pakistan's Brave Soldiers.

A corner meeting was arranged by Principal English Medium School Ubaro along with School Administrator and Teacher.
This meeting was arranged in Village Rangpur and Mayani Ghulam Hussain. The local community was apprised about Moawin Foundation and were encouraged to admit their children in English Medium School Ubaro free of cost. Admission forms were also distributed among people.

A 2-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) was organized by Pakistan Alliance of Early Childhood and National Institute of Banking and Finance which was attended by representatives of Moawin Foundation, Head Office on August 25 & 26, 2022. The topic was Integration of Financial Literacy in the National Curriculum. The training was designed for secondary school students to equip them on financial literacy. Teachers from Moawin Foundation's adopted schools also participated in this session. Moawin Foundation appreciates the efforts of the organizers and plans to capacitate children for their personality enhancement.

Teachers play a very vital role in the upbringing

Teachers play a very vital role in the upbringing of students. As a token of thanks to Teachers, students of GGHS Dhudi Phaphra decorated every teacher's room with flowers and colourful charts. Students organised a function and made speeches highlighting the role of Teachers in the progress of their students. The teachers encouraged and appreciated the efforts of Children.

Chairman Moawin Foundation Admiral Asif Sandila (Retd) along with Director Air Cdre (Retd) Syed Naser Ali Hamadani from Moawin Foundation visited Islamabad Model School (IMS I-9/4). The purpose of the visit was to analyze E-learning solution (MUSE) by Mera Sabaq. The team had a very fruitful visit and met with children and teachers. The team also observed the implementation of the MUSE solution through which major subjects till class 5 were being taught.
The digital learning system improves learning outcomes for Math, Science, English and General Knowledge. The E-learning solution is engaging and interactive, with animated story-based video lessons and quizzes.

Chairman, Moawin Foundation, Admiral Asif Sandila, called on His Excellency Mr. Zhao Shiren, Consul General of China in Lahore. The Chairman briefed Mr. Zhao Shiren about the work being done by Moawin Foundation in different areas of Pakistan and the support being provided by People's Republic of China. The Consul General appreciated the efforts of Moawin Foundation and assured of his continuous support.

47 packets of rations have been handed over to DC

47 packets of rations have been handed over to DC Ghanche Mr. Muhammad Raza in the presence of AD GBDMA Mr. Nasir Ud Din and other officials. Ration packets will be distributed among flood effectees in district ghanche by district administration and GBDMA.
Moawin Foundation with the help of Central Asia Institute will soon be distributing more than 340 ration packets at Gilgit, Diamer and Ghizer.
