Transforming CSR into Impact: NFEH 18th Annual CSR Summit 2026

On February 12, 2026, leaders from across Pakistan gathered at Serena Hotel for the NFEH 18th Annual CSR Summit 2026. Organized by National Forum for Environment & Health, the summit brought together corporate executives, policymakers, development practitioners, and social sector leaders to explore how Corporate Social Responsibility can move beyond compliance and create measurable, lasting impact.

The discussions centered on strengthening education systems, empowering youth through market-relevant skills, and building effective public–private partnerships to drive inclusive national progress.

Among the participating organizations, Moawin Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to positioning education and vocational training at the heart of its CSR strategy.

Education as the Strongest CSR Investment

Chairman Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, NI(M), Former Chief of the Naval Staff and Chairman of Moawin Foundation, addressed the summit with a clear and strategic perspective on sustainable development.

In his remarks, he emphasized that education must remain a central focus of corporate giving and social investment.

“Education is the right of every child. If we want real and lasting impact, we must invest where transformation begins. Alongside formal education, vocational training for the younger generation is essential. Skills such as dressmaking and beautician training remain in high demand for women, whether in Islamabad or in rural villages. We must equip women and girls with these skills so they can earn independently and strengthen their families with dignity.”

His statement reflected Moawin Foundation’s integrated approach, where academic access, structured mentorship, and employable skills work together to create pathways toward economic participation and social mobility.

A Platform of National Leaders

The summit also featured insightful contributions from a diverse group of distinguished representatives from corporate, regulatory, development, and social sectors, reflecting the breadth of perspectives shaping Pakistan’s CSR landscape.

Senior government officials also attended the summit, including Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister, and Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who jointly presented awards to more than 70 leading organizations at the 18th Annual CSR Awards ceremony.

The event was further addressed by Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, former Minister for Investment; Naeen Qureshi, President, National Forum for Environment & Health; and Ruqyya Naeem, Secretary General, NFEH.

The awards ceremony celebrated outstanding contributions to community development, philanthropy, sustainable business practices, and environmental protection, reinforcing the growing importance of responsible corporate leadership in Pakistan.

Reinforcing Moawin Foundation’s Commitment

For Moawin Foundation, participation in the NFEH 18th Annual CSR Summit 2026 was an opportunity to advocate for education as a strategic CSR priority.

Across underserved regions, the Foundation continues to strengthen learning environments, provide structured mentorship, and deliver vocational training initiatives that equip youth and women with practical, income-generating skills.

The summit served as a timely reminder that business success today is measured not only by financial performance but by purpose and impact. When corporate investment aligns with education and employable skills, the results extend beyond individuals to families and entire communities.

Moving Forward

Moawin Foundation remains committed to collaborating with corporate partners, public institutions, and development stakeholders who share a long-term vision for inclusive growth.

Education and skill development are not short-term interventions. They are foundational investments in Pakistan’s future. Through shared responsibility and sustained partnerships, meaningful and measurable change becomes achievable.
