Golf is generally considered a game for the wealthy, but enthusiasts of the sport say there is no better way to maintain health and peace of mind. Once someone becomes addicted to it, they can never let it go. Many believe that major decisions are often made during a round of golf. Beautiful paths of friendship pass through the trails of golf courses. It’s a habit that is impossible to break.
Recently, the Garden City Golf and Country Club Islamabad hosted the “First Akhuwat Golf Tournament.” Its purpose was to spread the message of brotherhood (Mawakhat). To promote this tradition, we will go to every street and alley, knock on every door, because this very concept holds the key to our salvation. Through it, we can build a beautiful society.
On that day, more than seventy people played golf. The moments of joy, peace, and happiness were significant, but the greatest takeaway was the message of brotherhood they carried with them.
Akhuwat held its 1st Garden City Golf Tournament that served as a meaningful convergence of sport and social responsibility, bringing together individuals united by a shared commitment to community and compassion.
