On April 19, 2025, Chairman Admiral (Retd) Mohammad Asif Sandila and the Head Office team of Moawin Foundation met with Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Wajiha Qamar, to present the Foundation’s ongoing work in strengthening public education and vocational training across Pakistan.
During the meeting, Chairman Sandila highlighted Moawin Foundation’s commitment to uplifting the standard of education in government schools, with a special focus on underserved rural areas. Since its inception in 2014, the Foundation has adopted 286 schools nationwide, benefiting over 43,000 students and training more than 2,200 teachers.
Moawin Foundation’s contributions include infrastructure development, teacher training, integration of digital learning, and a strong emphasis on morals and ethics in education. In addition to school improvement, the Foundation is actively running Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs) to equip youth with employable skills.
In Islamabad, Moawin Foundation manages 13 schools under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).
Minister Wajiha Qamar appreciated Moawin Foundation’s impactful work and extended her support for its continued efforts to transform education across Pakistan.
